Yumi is a partner and founding member of Spinnaker Partners. Previously, Yumi has participated in several international M&A deals in bio-technology and hardware industries. She graduated from one of the top private colleges in Japan as well as starting three businesses in China prior to attending college.She has years of international work experience in digital marketing, business development, contract reviewing and investor relationships etc. Utilizing her Japanese, English and Chinese language and culture skills, She has been able to make serious contribution to our clients.
Toshitada Nagumo, CEO of Spinnaker Partners, Inc., is a business strategy and execution consultant for ICT and its related industries. He promoted the concept of “Ubiquitous Networks”, integral version of ICT concept including IoT, AI, VR/AR, robotics etc, and has been leveraging his consulting works by this. He also has been conducting M&A/alliance, fundraising, trading and so on. Client base is global large corporations, startups and investment fund including VC. Currently, he is serving as Japan CEO of fast growing Silicon Valley based Venture Capital, Fenox Venture Capital Inc as well.
Before establishing Spinnaker Partners, he was senior consultant at Nomura Research Institute, Ltd., one of the biggest and most prestigious Japanese consulting and system integration firms. He provided strategic consulting, such as business development, global business expansion, Japan market entry, technology evaluation and more to large Japanese corporations as well as global large corporations in the US, EU and Asia. “Ubiquitous Network and Market Creation” (NRI publication), “Industrial Change and Corporate Management in the Era of Ubiquitous Networks” (NRI Papers), “Innovative Business Model in the Era of Ubiquitous Networks” (NRI Papers) are some of his representing writings. While being with NRI, he worked at US subsidiary, Nomura Research Institute America in New York, for several years. A large number of his engagement includes US entry/business expansion strategy to large Japanese corporations and vice versa.
